Arrival & Checkout Times - We look forward to having you as our guest and are preparing your room for your arrival. Our standard check in time is between 3pm - 8pm. If you are in the area and would like to check in earlier, just give us a call. If your room is ready, we will be happy to check you in. If the room is not ready you are invited to take a sight-seeing drive of our little valley. If you will be arriving later than 8pm PLEASE give us a courtesy call so we can plan accordingly.
Check out time is 11am. If you need a later checkout, please let us know and if possible, we'll gladly accommodate your request, if possible. If room is already booked by another party we will be happy to hold your luggage for you while you go sight seeing or sit around and relax in the great room
Our suites are for a maximum of 3 individuals. Please note that we do not have extra beds/cots etc to provide. Should you arrive with more guests in your party than the room maximum, and more than you registered for, you will either have to reserve an additional room IF available, or your reservation will be cancelled, and your deposit may be forfeited
Vehicles - Only 1 vehicle allowed per room! County policy.

NO SMOKING - The Edelweiss is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is allowed outside, 25+ feet from any building. And please throw your cigarette butts in the trash bins. Any violations (smoking inside the Edelweiss) will result in a minimum $500 restoration fine.
NO OPEN FLAMES
NO PETS - To accommodate all our guest, no pets are allowed.
NO CHILDREN UNDER 2 - There may be exceptions. Please call for inquiry. It is uncommon for hotels/bnb’s in our area to accept children. We will allow children with the expectation that they will be well mannered and respectful and UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES and NOT allowed to roam the inn freely! This IS our home and it is NOT child proof. Young ones still in diapers MUST sleep in a pack n play and are NOT allowed to sleep in the beds. Please do not abuse this privilege.
NO FOOD/BEVERAGES IN ROOM
COURTESY QUIET TIME IS 10PM - 7AM: We are in a residential neighborhood so we must adhere to the county policies for quiet time.
Hot Tub - Closed at 10pm - only 6 at one time. Registered guests only. This is for your privacy and every one's security. No sitting on hot tub cover, it cannot handle the weight. ABSOLUTELY NO SITTING ON DECK RAILING, it is a 15 foot drop!!!
Items Stolen, Broken, or Stained - Please be aware credit card on file will possibly charge in such cases, including lost or stolen inn property. Please notify us if anything is broken or stained. We have black wash cloths for make-up removal. Please do not use white towels, wash cloths for nose bleeds, injuries, spills, or make-up removal.
NO SKIIS, POLES OR BOOTS allowed in rooms. We have provided an area for these items in the basement entry, the locker room.
**Edelweiss is in a mountain location. A 4W drive or All-Wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended during the winter season. Roads are easily accessible when you have the proper vehicle. During heavy snow, call us for an alternate route to our lodge.
Cancellation Policy - Upon registering a 25% deposit (non-refundable) is due at time of booking. Cancellations MUST be done by telephone (801.209.8722). NO cancellation will be accepted by email. Cancellations must be 21 days before arrival date for a full refund, minus the 25% non-refundable deposit. Under 21 days you will be responsible for your entire balance. You will be charged for any nights not sold. We will do our best to resell the room. At that time, you will get a full refund.
No refunds for unforeseen cancelled flights, weather, ski conditions, personal issues, injuries, travel problems or any other reason. Because of the small number of rooms, we hope you understand that cancellations impact us significantly. We recommend that you buy travel insurance to offset the cost of an unexpected cancellation. NO SHOWS - should you have a reservation with us and not show, we will process the full stay of your visit on your credit card on file.
There is a security camera in the common area.
We are making some upgrades and will be taking reservations again in the fall.
