Each of our suites is well-appointed and tastefully decorated to accommodate up to four guests and both spaces offer a private entrance and private outdoor space with outdoor seating and incredible views across the Ogden Valley and Northern Wasatch Mountains. Private outdoor area with views across the Ogden Valley, Adirondack chairs, side tables, and outdoor cushions.

Powder Mountain Suite – private bedroom sleeps 4: King bed and 2 twins plus a futon in the living space.

The kitchen in our Powder Mountain Suite also provides a full gas stove and dishwasher

Ben Lomond Suite – private bedroom sleeps 4: 2 Queen beds plus a chaise lounge in the living space.

The outdoor space in our Ben Lomond Suite also includes an outdoor patio table and 6 chairs.

CHECK AVAILABILITY

Arrival/Departure - Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 11am. Please call us to request early arrival or late check out and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. If you are arriving later than 8pm PLEASE give us a courtesy call so we can plan accordingly.

Suite Capacity - Maximum four guests per room. ALL guests and the ages of all children must be included in your registration information. Our prices include two guests and we charge an additional $25 per person per night for each additional guest over 12 years old. If you have more than four guests, please request availability for an additional room. Failure to register all guests may result in your reservation being cancelled and forfeit of your deposit.

Parking - We provide free on-site parking for one vehicle per suite (per Weber County regulations). We are in a mountain location and 4WD or AWD is HIGHLY recommended during the winter season. During heavy snow please call us to check road conditions and for an alternative route to our lodge.

Smoking/Vaping - Edelweiss is a drug-free, non-smoking, non-vaping environment. There is absolutely no smoking of any substance of any kind inside or outside on our property – including smoking, vaping, e‑cigarettes, or marijuana. Please take a lovely walk along the road if you wish to smoke/vape and be sure to dispose of all cigarette butts and trash in our green garbage can. Any violation of this policy may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeit of your deposit.

Quiet Time - We are in a residential neighborhood and we request that you are respectful of our home and our community at ALL times. Quiet time is 10pm to 7am (per Weber County policy).

Children - We love children and all ages are welcome at Edelweiss. We expect all guests, including children, to be courteous and respectful of our home. Our home is NOT child-proof and ALL children must be supervised at ALL times and NEVER left to roam our property without adult supervision. Young ones still in diapers MUST sleep in a pack-and-play and are NOT allowed to sleep in the beds. Please do not abuse this privilege.

Pets - We love pets and we allow pets ONLY with prior approval from your host. Please call to discuss our pet policy in person and to make arrangements prior to your day of arrival. We charge an additional $50 per night for pets. Pets MUST be completely house trained, well behaved, and kept on a leash at ALL times when they are outside. There is no secure pet area on our property. You are expected to clean up immediately after your pets. Pets are NOT allowed on furniture or beds and can NOT be left unattended on the property. You will be responsible for the full cost of any damage incurred by your pet.

Weekends Minimum Stay - Our weekends are always busy and we require a two-night minimum stay if you book a Friday or Saturday night at Edelweiss.

Loss/Damages - We will make every effort to minimize the cost of loss or damages to our property that are incurred during your stay at Edelweiss. Please make us immediately aware of any items that are missing, broken, stained, or damaged in any way. You may be charged the cost to restore those items at the sole discretion of your host.

Deposit - When booking a reservation, you will immediately be charged a minimum of one night’s deposit including all applicable taxes and fees. 14 days or less prior to arrival the full amount of your reservation, plus all taxes and fees, will be charged and becomes non‑refundable.

Cancellations - we are a small business in an off-the-beaten-path location. Therefore, last-minute cancellations are very costly to us. Cancellations 15 days prior to arrival will result in a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee. No-shows and cancellations 14 days or less prior to arrival are fully non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for cancelled flights, weather, ski conditions, personal injuries, family emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations.
